Anything that Aamir Khan does, King Khan can do better. Atleast that is what Shah Rukh Khan seems to be suggesting.
As the one-upmanship between the Khans of Bollywood continues, the actor says he plans a better marketing strategy for his upcoming film ‘Billu Barber’ than Aamir’s ‘Ghajini’.
On a question on whether he also plans to cut hair like Aamir did in ‘Ghajini’, SRK was at his sarcastic best.
“I think, I will wax women’s legs…what do you think?” said a visibly peeved SRK.
After the debacle of his film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and the mega success of ‘Ghajini’, SRK is a wee bit insecure of his status as the uncrowned badshaah of Bollywood. Perhaps that is why he is going all out to promote ‘Billu Barber’ - his first release of 2009. Although technically, his role is the movie is only an extended special appearance, he has got more air-time than protagonist Irrfan Khan.
The role may be short in the movie, but SRK definitely likes all the projection he’s getting.
“Am I looking bad? What is your problem if they are showing me,” SRK snipped back at the reporter who asked him about his projection in the movie.
Well, it seems after a disasterous 2008, Shah Rukh need to go that extra mile to promote ‘brand SRK’ - at any cost!
