The Mid Autumn Festival is a tradition festivity among Han and Minority Nationalities. This custom which was seen of worshiping the moon is called as xi yue in chinese language pinyin. The history of such event is as old as ancient xia and Shang Dynasties ( in 2000 B.C. – 1066 B.C.). During the Zhou Dynasty moon worshiping was still in practice however peoples of Zhou Dynasty hold ceremonies to greet winter. In Tang Dynasty it is fully known that people love to worship full moon. The origin of moon cake came into existence during Song Dynasty in ( 1127 – 1279 A.D.). Till the Qing and Ming Dynasties the festival have became so much popular that it is celebrated among all parts of China. But during all such phases many customs enter in Mid Autumn Festival like burning incense, lighting lanterns, planting Mid Autumn trees, and fire dragon dances. Uff i love it. In many parts of China wine is the most common drink to celebrate the festive night.
